School of Music Audition Information for Fall 2024

Are you an undergraduate student ready to audition for entrance to the KU School of Music for Fall 2024? We are offering live, in-person auditions on Saturday, Feb. 10, and Saturday, Feb. 17. Please use the links provided below to choose which audition event you would prefer and pick your audition timeslot once in the registration. (You may choose up to three instruments).

Music Therapy applicants will be contacted by the music recruiter, Asher Suski, in January 2024 to set up a Music Therapy interview for the day of your audition. This is a required component for Music Therapy applicants.

Note: There is a priority date of March 15, 2024, for Music Scholarship consideration, though we will continue to accept faculty-approved and by-appointment auditions for full music degrees and minors until June 1, 2024.

Audition Instructions:

• Visit the Undergraduate Audition Information page and scroll down to find a list of instruments and their specific audition requirements
• Prepare and practice your audition pieces.
• Attend your live audition day!
• Please contact the studio faculty listed for your instrument with questions regarding pieces.
