    Welcome to KU!

    Our Crimson & Blue Day open house event allows guests to discover everything the University of Kansas has to offer.

    On Friday, October 14, we would like to show you our outstanding academic programs, student life and services, student housing, beloved Jayhawk traditions and much more. You can choose from a variety of sessions, tours and drop‐in opportunities throughout the day, and build an unique campus visit experience around your interests. You can pick what time you want to arrive and leave based on the sessions you'd like to attend - the Opening Welcome is optional. Please check-in at one of the Check-in stations at any time between 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. and to receive the most updated information.

    Lied Center: 8 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

    Burge Union: 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

    Kansas Union: 10:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.

    KU Visitor Center: 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

    Parking: Parking is open and free in any KU yellow lot (see map for yellow lots) and the three parking garages. Please do not park in other places on campus as you may be ticketed. Crimson and Blue Day shuttles are available starting at 10 a.m. Buses will be around campus with Crimson and Blue on the front of the shuttle.

    Schedule

    This day is an Open House style event. You pick the sessions you want to attend and customize your visit experience. This is a tentative schedule. Continue to check back for additional options and location details. Please note that several sessions are only offered once and others are repeated throughout the day so click through all the times to see what is available. All sessions are optional. Don't forget to scroll all the way down to see when housing and campus tours are available! 

    You only need to check in during this time if plan to attend the optional Welcome session.

    At the Welcome, you will learn about what it means to be a Jayhawk including an overview of the schedule. This is an optional session that is a great way to start your day. If you do not want to attend the Welcome, you can go directly to your first session. It is your day!

    KU Athletics is hosting the annual Late Night in the Phog. This is a free event to see the women and men’s basketball teams. You must have a reserved ticket to enter. Everyone can still enjoy festivities that will start in the afternoon on the lawn of Allen Fieldhouse at 2 p.m.

    For attending the Crimson and Blue Day Open House, each student can receive one ticket to the November 5 home football game. Please stop by the KU Visitor Center, Kansas Union or Burge Union between 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. for your ticket and additional tickets can be purchased using promo code KANSAS22.
