Jayhawk Days

FOR CURRENT HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS INTERESTED IN KU

Jayhawk Days are designed for high school freshmen, sophomores and juniors, as well as seniors who have yet to be admitted to KU, who want to learn more about KU.

Our Jayhawk Day Tours start at the KU Visitor Center and include:

    • An introduction to KU presentation given by an admissions representative
    • A one-hour walking tour of campus led by a student ambassador
    • A 45-minute optional housing tour of our residence and dining halls

    Sample Schedule

11:00 am: Introduction to KU Presentation

    12:00 pm: Campus Tour

    1:30 pm: Housing Tour  (Optional)

In addition to the above, if you would like to do more while you are on-campus, when registering, simply click ‘yes’ when asked if you would like to meet with an academic department and we will happily schedule that into your day as well (registration must occur at least 10 days in advance of visit; please allow at least an additional hour for this meeting and any other appointments requested).
