Jayhawk Days

Jayhawk Days are designed for high school freshmen, sophomores and juniors, as well as seniors who have yet to be admitted to KU, who want to learn more about KU.

Our Jayhawk Day Tours start at the KU Visitor Center and include:

    • An introduction to KU presentation given by an admissions representative
    • A one-hour walking tour of campus led by a student ambassador
    • A 45-minute optional housing tour of our residence and dining halls

    Sample Schedule

11:00 am: Introduction to KU Presentation

    12:00 pm: Campus Tour

    1:30 pm: Housing Tour  (Optional)

In addition to the above, if you would like to do more while you are on-campus, when registering, simply click ‘yes’ when asked if you would like to meet with an academic department and we will happily schedule that into your day as well (registration must occur at least 10 days in advance of visit; please allow at least an additional hour for this meeting and any other appointments requested).

To register for a Jayhawk Day, select an available date from the calendar.

If you are looking to visit campus on February 17 or April 10, consider attending a Rock Chalk Day. At this half-day event, you can attend a session based on your academic interest, learn more about the over 200 areas of study offered at KU, and take a tour of our beautiful hilltop campus.

If the date you would like to attend is unavailable, please contact your admissions representative to inquire about alternative visit options.

If you need to cancel or reschedule a previous registration, please contact visit@ku.edu.
