2021 Leadership Symposiums

    KU Leadership Symposiums

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed our whole way of living and is likely to make an impact for years to come. It is crucial now more than ever to look at how we can change the future for the better.

We need to ask ourselves, as leaders, what can we improve? At one of our upcoming KU Leadership Symposiums, you can reflect on this question as you learn to take the lead, achieve your goals, and transform your future. As a future leader, you can begin to develop or enhance the skills needed to succeed as a student and a professional. These symposiums will include engagement with faculty and staff, interactive workshops, lunch, and an admissions and scholarship presentation.

In addition to our regular lineup of leadership symposiums, we've added two new symposiums this fall. The LGBTQIA+ Leadership Symposium, which is focused on leadership development of the queer and trans community, but is also open to advocates of the QT community. And the First Generation College Student Leadership Symposium is for students who neither their parents nor guardians have received a bachelor's degree.

If you are an individual registrant and not affiliated with any student organization or program, please reach out to Madison Page at adm@ku.edu.
