Student Community Leadership Conference
Join us for a special event focused on student community and leadership!
On behalf of the Legacy Group Online and the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, we invite you to the Student Community Leadership Conference, which will be held on September 30th, at the University of Kansas' Memorial Union.
The Student Community Leadership Conference (SCLC) aims to provide student leaders with an interactive and engaging leadership experience that will provide a forum for exploring, understanding, and challenging thoughts and ideas about how we value community in our schools. The conference will also give participants a basic understanding of our responsibility to foster a unified environment in our high schools.
Each school staff/faculty must register their group; individual students are also able to register. Space is limited, so register soon! There is no registration fee, but please note that a cancellation fee for no shows will be assessed to the sponsoring high school. To ensure your group's registration, please wait for a confirmation email from KU.

Parking Information
If your group is traveling via a van/car/personal vehicle: Park your vehicle at the Mississippi Parking Garage, which is directly across the street from the Jayhawk Welcome Center, and connected with the Kansas Union. We recommend entering the garage via its east entrance at 1201 Oread Ave, Lawrence, KS 66045 and park on level four of the parking garage. Please see email communications for a link to register your vehicle.
If your group is traveling via bus: Students can unload in front of the Kansas Union, along Jayhawk Blvd. Your bus will then need to park in Lot #300, located on West Campus at the Lied Center at: 1600 Stewart Dr, Lawrence, KS 66045. This is labeled on the campus map that is attached. If you have any questions regarding parking day-of, please contact KU Parking at: 785-864-7275.
