    Click through some frequently asked questions about Crimson & Blue Day.

    We are constantly updating our Crimson & Blue Day information, be sure to check back often for the latest additions!

     

    • You can park in any yellow lots, Allen Fieldhouse Garage, Central District Garage and Mississippi Street Garage. Please do not park in any other places on campus as you will be ticketed. Starting at 5:00 p.m., the lower two levels of the Allen Fieldhouse Garage are reserved by KU Athletics event.  Any Crimson & Blue Day guests must depart from the lower two levels of the Allen Fieldhouse Garage by 5:00 p.m., or receive at minimum $100 parking ticket.
    • Please keep in mind that yellow lot #90 and the lower two levels of the Allen Fieldhouse Parking Garage will be reserved at 5:00 p.m. Be sure to move your vehicle from these areas by 5 p.m. to avoid an at minimum $100 fine or the risk of being towed. 
    • From 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the main section of Jayhawk Blvd. is closed to the general public. Without the required parking permit, guests cannot drive their vehicle through Jayhawk Blvd. during this time.
    • Around 10-15 minutes.
    • Check the event map to see if there is a yellow lot or parking garage near your chosen session, if there is, we encourage you to drive your vehicle.
    • Stop by any of these locations for assistance with event questions
      • Jayhawk Welcome Center, 1266 Oread Ave. from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
      • Burge Union, 1565 Irving Hill Rd. from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.​​​​​​.
      • Kansas Union (help station only), 1301 Jayhawk Blvd. from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
    • First, you'll want to figure out the main session or sessions you want to attend. If you haven't attended a Jayhawk Day visit, we recommend joining us for one of our Admissions presentations at 10 a.m. or 1 p.m. in the Jayhawk Welcome Center. Find any academic sessions that are important to you, then you can fill in your schedule by checking out what's offered during your spare time!

    Campus Tours

    Join our Student Ambassadors for a walking tour down Jayhawk Boulevard. All tours will leave from and return to the Kansas Union, Ballroom, Level 5. Arrive at least 15-20 minutes early for one of the tour times below.

    • 1 p.m. 
    • 2 p.m. 

    Cheer on the Jayhawks!

    Purchase your discounted tickets here and experience an exciting Homecoming Football matchup – KU vs. Houston at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday, October 19th, 2024. You can buy tickets anytime leading up to kickoff. Ticket holders must purchase parking pass in advance of gameday.
